Surgery Hours

Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm

Friday 8.00am – 3.00pm

Appointments

Consultations are normally by appointment. If your appointment is for other than a
standard consultation (for instance, several problems, a long involved problem, medical report) please tell the receptionist when you make an appointment so that extra time
can be allowed.

After Hours

If you are sick at night or on weekends, please ring Dr Low on 0417 728 508 for medical attention or contact your GP or emergency dept.

Accident and Emergency

In extreme emergencies such as severe breathing difficulties or severe chest pain, phone 000. If time permits contact the surgery for additional assistance.

For other emergencies, phone the surgery for advice. If possible the patient should be brought to the surgery.

Availability of Doctor by Telephone

Dr Low may be contacted by phone during normal surgery hours. If your call is urgent,
it will be treated as such. When Dr Low is with a patient, a message will be taken and your call returned.

Repeat Prescriptions

These are available at the discretion of the doctor. Requests can be made by phone or letter, or by visiting the surgery. It is helpful if we have at least 24 hours notice in which to deal with your request.

Note: There is a $5.00 fee for repeat prescriptions.

FEES

Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, cheque, Bankcard, Visa or EFTPOS.
We accept Veteran’s Affairs cards. Please advise if it a WorkCover claim.

Consultation fees

Initial Consultation $80.00
(Medicare rebate $60.00, once receipt is presented)

Subsequent Consultation $50.00
(Medicare rebate $30.00, once receipt is presented)

Surgery

If you require surgery, Dr Low is a GAP Doctor, which means that we will bill your
Private Health Insurance and there is no GAP to pay.

You may need to be an excess to the hospital depending on your policy, contact
your Health Insurance provider for this.

Following surgery your will be required to come back for a post-operative appointment (Aftercare). This is free of charge.
